Over the years, Erling Haaland has dealt with different injuries that have kept him off the pitch. In the 2018/19 season, Haaland was out for 21 days with a ligament injury, and it kept him out from October 29, 2018, until November 19, 2018. On September 23, 2019, Haaland was listed as ill and was kept out until September 30, 2019. He then dealt with a bruise that kept him out for 14 days while he recovered in the 2019/20 season while he played for RB Salzburg. The next month Haaland experienced knee problems that kept him out for 11 days and went from November 14, 2019, to November 25, 2019. The last injury that he dealt with while still playing for RB Salzburg was an abdominal injury that had him sitting on the sidelines for four days.
During that season, Erling Haaland transferred to Dortmund in the Bundesliga and faced a knee injury that kept him out from May 28, 2020, until June 8, 2020. On his return, he scored a goal against Dusseldorf to give them a 1-0 win on June 13, 2020. He finished this season with 40 goals and seven assists.

He missed five games during that stint. It wasn’t long until Haaland had to miss more time with an injury to his hip flexor. This injury kept him out for 35 days. He then missed 42 days and six games with muscular problems. He was out from January 24, 2022, until March 7, 2022. During that season, Haaland earned himself 22 goals in the Bundesliga and also had six assists to go with it.
Erling Haaland moved to the Premier League to play with Manchester City for the 2022/23 season. The first injury he encountered during his time in Manchester was a foot bruise that kept him out for nine days and he missed 2 games over that span. In his first game back after this injury, Haaland scored a goal in extra time. In this same season, Haaland dealt with a groin injury that kept him out for three games from March 21, 2023, until April 3, 2023.
