It is built like a boot that would be used for mountaineering. These boots have a protective rubber rand, rugged leather upper and a waterproof membrane to keep your feet warm and dry throughout your adventures. The flex is medium which makes it stiff enough to allow a little glide when on the flats. However, it’s not too stiff to navigate the rugged terrain.
